Russia → Uzbekistan shipping: step-by-step guide
From booking to delivery: how Russia–Uzbekistan freight works and what depends on the shipper.
May 3, 2026
If this is your first shipment to Uzbekistan, the path from invoice to consignee signature can look tangled. Here is the step-by-step process and the typical mistakes to avoid.
Step 1. Document prep
The minimum export pack from Russia: contract or invoice, packing list, export declaration. Sanctioned goods and licenced products need an extra set (CGR, FSTEC, notification).
Step 2. Pickup
The truck or consolidation van comes to the shipper's address. For groupage, we move it to our consolidation warehouse near Moscow where it is combined with other shippers' cargo.
Step 3. Customs clearance
We file the electronic declaration (EDT) with FCS Russia. Average release time is a few hours after submission, given correct paperwork. Uzbek customs is processed on arrival in 1–2 working days.
Step 4. Transit
The route runs through Kazakhstan or via the Caspian Sea. Standard time Moscow → Tashkent: 10–14 days for LTL, 5–8 days for FTL.
Step 5. Delivery
We deliver to the warehouse or address of the consignee in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan, Andijan. CMR is signed, original documents handed over.
Common mistakes
- Weight or volume in documents does not match the actual cargo.
- Marking that fails Uzbekistan import requirements.
- Skipping certification for food or cosmetics.
- Late payment of duties on the consignee side.
